Do You Need Love in Your Marriage

If you are looking to have the perfect marriage, then you have probably realized that it is a very hard dream to attain. Regardless of the situation, creating the perfect balance and harmony in your marriage can be very tough and it can get even more tougher with time.

In fact, contrary to popular belief, experts proclaim that the passing of years can introduce more hardship in a marriage and as a result, a marriage can crack even after 20 years or more. In addition, several experts proclaim that marriages are more likely to get effected in the first 5 to 7 years, as well as on the 10th year to its 15th year. Thus, in retrospect,

as you can see it can be very tough for marriages; but almost all experts and married couples will agree that one thing which holds all marriages together would be the concept of love.

How would the concept of love effect the situation in a marriage? First of all, it would create a situation in which you would want to be with your partner all the time. You would want to share a lot of stuff together and you will take a lot of pleasure with talking to your partner and having a chance to share every aspect of your life together. Moreover, being in love will help you to overcome seeing the differences that may exist between the two partners and as a result, differences and arguments can be easily reconciled.
Then, how would you be able to have the level of love that is required to sustain a successful marriage? It would be difficult to do so, since it has been shown that love can decrease over time and it is almost impossible to have love that can be sustained for many long years.

However, the trick in a successful marriage would be to see whether you can transform love into so mething else that can be more everlasting.  For example, some of the qualities that you will need to have in a successful marriage would be respect for each other as well as to have patience and understanding. Thus, in order to have a long term marriage, you will need to transform your love for each other to mutual respect and mutual appreciation for each other.
Hence, as you can see, the key to an everlasting marriage is in your hands. Although love is the first starting point in a successful marriage, it is not the ending point. You will have to make sure that you can add some special qualities such as respect and admiration for each other and these feelings will need to be fueled by love in order to be everlasting.  Of course,

you will also have to make sure that you are able to be patient and understanding to each other and you should always remember the first time that you have fallen in love with your spouse in order to make sure that you can rekindle that fire again.
