2. Ensure to vacuum your pool on a regular basis and it becomes more important if you are using your pool on a daily basis. It is required as being in open, debris or leaves do fall on above ground pools. Doing vacuum everyday will prevent any algae or fungal growth in pool.

3. Filters of above ground pools are not so strong that they can do entire job on their own. Thus, you should be cleaning sides of pool at least twice in a weak. You just need to brush dirt and deposited debris and rest cleaning will be done by filter.

4. Backwashing of filter on regular basis is important. This will ensure that it will remain clean and debris leaves or algae will not be coming back in above ground pools.

5. It is recommended to add solution as per size of your pool to prevent algae growth.

6. Carrying out regular shock treatment will prevent any bacteria growth. This is carried out in combination with chlorine which ensures water remains clean and safe but keep pool unused for couple of hours after that. Testing chlorine levels in above ground pools is also recommended.
