HP provided on Friday more details about the Windows 8 OS upgrade program for consumers who buy Windows 7 PCs, clarifying certain dates, offer limits and impact on the company’s accounting.The Windows 8 operating system is in its final stagesHP0-M58 exam of development and may ship toward the end of this year. But HP doesn’t want consumers to hold off on purchasing Windows 7 PCs in the meantime.That’s where the Windows Upgrade Offer comes in. Announced on Thursday along with the latest test version of Windows 8, thePassfine Windows Upgrade Offer will let buyers of Windows 7 PCs upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for US$14.99.
 
In addition to Passfine these restructuring actions, HP expects to achieve additional savings from non-headcount cost reductions, including supply chain optimization, SKU and platform rationalization, go-to-market strategy simplification and HP0-M58 exam business process improvement.

 

 HP is pleased that the Court ruled that the language in the HP/Oracle agreement can be interpreted to require Oracle to continue porting its software Passfine products to the HP Integrity platform, as Oracle did for years before the agreement. AsHP0-M58 exam the ruling states, Oracle’s interpretation would make the agreement ‘illusory’ and ‘should be rejected.’
