Compare the Solar Panels before Buying

Solar energy could be the answer to the energy problem of the world. However, to tap the solar energy, there is a need to install solar panels correctly. Since there are several brands and companies associated with solar panels, comparing them before making a purchase is recommended. Here are some points on which the solar panels should be compared before buying:

Minimum warranted power: when comparing solar panels, you should look for the panels, for which the minimum warranted power rating is the highest, the peak negative tolerance and negative tolerance rating is the lowest.

.
Power production warranty: solar panels from established manufacturers have a proven track record of providing power for more than 30 years. Some newly developed panels, based on the latest technology offer a power production warranty of 20 years because they have not been in the market for long to establish a track record. Therefore, instead of going for the new technology, which is not so reliable, you should stick to the established companies.
Efficiency rating: efficiency rating of the panel means that a more efficient panel would produce more power per square inch of the material used. Higher efficiency panels make use of solar cells, which have been cut from silicon’s solid ingots. However, some manufacturers do not follow this norm to reduce their manufacturing costs and thus lower the efficiency of the panel.

Besides the above-mentioned points certain other factors like the inverter’s efficiency rating, the transformer of the inverter and the mounting racks should also be considered. When comparing solar panels , you should not go by the dealer’s word but ask for the factory printed specification sheets, which provide the necessary details.
