How Your Fast Diet Can Work While You Sleep…

If you’re like most women you want a fast diet that works… I bet you also would love a good night’s sleep! Can you have both?

Research shows that you can have weight loss by getting more sleep! It appears that not getting enough sleep can make you pile on weight! So getting more sleep can lead to weight loss? Yes it does…

It also seems that you’ll look younger and be healthier too…

Let me explain…

Over half of the western world’s population are overweight and many are unhealthily obese. Many of these obese people are women who look older than their years, are unhealthy and are likely to die earlier than they should…

Current research looked into the amount of sleep people were getting, their metabolic rate and their weight. The results showed that people who slept for less than seven hours each night were more likely to become seriously overweight. In fact too little sleep doubled the chance of being obese.

Those sleeping for less than four hours a night had a nearly 75% more chance of being obese. Lack of sleep increases food cravings to the level of an extra 900 calories per day! This can lead to a weight increase of almost 2 pounds every week – an enormous amount!

The participants in the research process had very little problem with their weight prior to their amounts of sleep being lessened.

Sleep deprivation has an impact on your body’s hormone production. Ghrelin, the hormone that makes you want to eat more, is produced in greater quantities and leptin loses its ability to inform the brain that you’ve eaten enough food.

It seems that this problem with overweight and sleep is to become worse as, over the past half century the average night’s sleep has reduced from nine to seven hours…

New surveys show that just 19 per cent of adults enjoy a full eight hours a night, while 16 per cent are getting by on fewer than six.

Over half of us say that we are regularly so tired at work that we long to go home, while 59 per cent of women in their 30s report that they are nearly always tired.

Evidence suggests that restricted sleep leads to hormones not operating properly. The research team have investigated other factors linking lack of sleep and individuals gaining weight.

If you don’t sleep enough, then you’re awake longer (obviously!) leading to your having more time to over eat. If you’re overweight then you’re more likely to suffer from poor sleep patterns with the additional problems of snoring, sleep apnoea which are likely to interrupt your night’s sleep.

In America a group of women were asked to leave their eating patterns and exercise levels unchanged but to sleep each night for seven and a half hours.

Surprisingly this test resulted in the women achieving weight losses of between 3 and 15 pounds each. These exceptional achievements have resulted in further investigations being made to establish the links between body weight and sleep patterns.

Investigation has indicated that there is a link between overweight and sleep deprivation throughout the industrialised world. Research in these areas is being urged in order to change the tendency towards human obesity.

Make sure that you sleep sufficiently and increase the effectiveness of your fast diet. Research has shown that it has a definite impact on weight loss and it’s totally free…
