If you wish to become a popular artist, actor or performer, you have many options to choose from. You can be a Broadway star, an instrumentalist, a ballerina or a little of everything. But the most important thing to keep in mind is that there are no instant successes in the entertainment industry. The big names you see and hear about, like Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Charice and many others, became really popular through years of hard work and practice.
One thing that the above-mentioned performers have in common is extensive and intensive training. Although they were discovered and became sensations, they still had to undergo rigorous training to improve their skills and talents. Stardom could come your way too. Maybe you could improve just by practicing alone at home, but chances are, your self-training may fall short. The best thing to do is to join dance, singing or acting workshops. It may not be easy as it sounds, because even in workshops, you still have to audition. When handing your song to the pianist, do the same. It helps a lot, everybody wants a humble artist. Being humble will actually take you a long way. After performing, thank the judges.

It is like your advertisement in writing, wherein you write about your skills, goals, background and experiences. Like being on stage, you should positively showcase yourself in your resume. Choose what makes you stand out, your edge over the other candidates. Your photos in the resume should also be professionally done, to show your most attractive profile.
