SEO Writing 101 – Attract More Qualified Traffic through Search Engine

Below are the other equally important steps that you need to take in order to attract lots of qualified traffic through SEO writing:

  1. Check your articles. Read your articles after writing them. Your goal here is to ensure that your articles are informative and content-rich enough to give your audience great reading experience. Also, ensure that they’re well-written. You see, aside from educating these people, it’s also your responsibility to ensure that they’ll have great reading experience. Your articles will surely be noticed if they’re loaded with in-depth information, if they’re pleasurable to read, and if they’re relatively short but meaty.
  2. Insert your keywords. Start by placing your primary keyword (PK) on your title. As much as possible, you would want it to be the first thing that your target audience will see (this can actually help in securing better page rank for your articles). Then, ensure that your PK will appear on the first and last 90 characters of your article. You can then sprinkle it together with your secondary keywords all throughout your article body. Ideally, they should appear on all your paragraphs and they should be separated by no less than 50 words.
  3. Count the number of times you’ve used each keyword that you’re targeting. Your goal here is to make sure that you will stay within the limits in terms of keyword usage. The acceptable keyword density is 2% of your word count. That means that you can use your keywords just twice (that’s maximum) for every 100 words. Anything more than that can be considered keyword abuse.
  4. Re-check your articles. Read your articles again after optimizing them. Ensure that your keywords fit perfectly (they shouldn’t sound awkward) and that your articles actually make sense with these keywords. While you’re at it, check your articles for grammar and spelling errors. Correct factual errors and eliminate run-on sentences. Do everything to give your audience great reading experience.
  5. Get your articles published. Make your articles available to online users and use them as bait to get people to pay your site a visit. Start by submitting them popular, A-list article marketing sites like ezinearticles, goarticles, and buzzle. The more directories you use, the better. Then, use them on your blog and website. You also have the option of promoting them using social networking sites and forums that are related to your chosen niche.
  6. Track down your progress. Don’t just write and submit articles in the online arena without knowing if you’re actually getting your desired results. Download software that can help you figure out where your traffic is really coming from and which of your articles are actually getting more attention. It is through this that you’ll know what you do well and the things that you need to improve on. I’d say figure out the common denominators of your most popular articles and revise your not-so popular articles based on your observations.
