It starts with taking sides – good or bad
In about 2 years I have been playing the online game World of Warcraft (WoW). It started when I look at when my son was playing and after a while he convinced me to try, to create a character (old man). It starts with taking sides – good or bad, hmm .. I chose the evil side Horde. I made a female undead rogue who was called Dark Phoenix . I started the first landscape of undead, Trist Cases happy. Already here, I met nice, fun players who I added in my friend list, to keep track of when they were online and talk to them – perhaps determine meeting somewhere. You are chatting with the other players by chatting in English and through text messages or emotions.
I thought it was funny and worked me through the landscape after landscape and came to the capital cities and other continents. Traveled by train, boat, zeppelin, riding horses, falling from cliffs, swimming in lakes and seas, met with everything from turtles to lizards and swamp trolls. Eventually you get in return for various missions new clothes and which you can also buy if you have money (gold, silver and copper in the game). It also choose different occupations such as miner, jewelcrafter, leader worker, skinner, herbalism, enchanter, blacksmithing, engineering, fishing, etc. which are funny sidelines when you can not solve missions or fighting with monsters.
I became a member of a group (guild) called Angels of Death who had Type 300 or so member over Europa. With them I’m special assignments, instances of 5-10 people and raids on 50 people for example in Molten Core and Onyxia (as Bjorn Gustavsson talks about the calls, hahaha). Now the Dark Phoenix reached maxlevel 60 and son went on to play on her.
I created a new character; female nightelf paladin that I gave the name Bezzy .
It’s her, I play on now and she has had time to become level 80 (maximum level). One can choose different specialties such as Paladin and I chose Holy, which means that it heals up the other karatarerna in the game that takes damage, nice huh? Bezzy have been in different guilds, Oden missed,wow power leveling hammer of Thor (which has been wholly Swedish guilds which are a bit nice because then we can write in Swedish to each other and avoid sprakforbristningar).
Otherwise it’s great fun and instructive to write in English, it gets a little spelling mistakes and misunderstandings when you are in a hurry somewhere, or maybe he is attacked but the other players have generally agreed only with that. Very abbreviations, however .. for instances, locations, battlegrounds, cities, etc. ..
