High Interval Intense Training, Your Way To Rapid Fat Loss

Interval training (likewise called HIIT – High Intensity Interval Training) is a very popular cardio exercise plan right now. ??It’s pretty much the exact opposite of LSD – Long Slow Distance. Interval training is short and ultra intense – similar to what sprinting would be. ??LSD, on the other hand, is much longer and done slower like jogging might be. Scientific studies have shown that interval training is much more effective than LSD. ??It provides you a number of of the exact same advantages that LSD does, in just a shorter amount of time. ??And it gives you many other advantages that LSD doesn’t.
Essentially, LSD is just aerobic exercise, meaning that it’s a process that the body generates energy to perform with oxygen. ??Or in other words, you’re not breathing that hard. ??Interval training, on the other hand, is anaerobic training, meaning it’s an activity that the body produces energy to execute without oxygen. ??Or again in other words, you are breathing hard. LSD training increases your aerobic capacity. Makes sense. ??Interval training, however, increases anaerobic capacity (which again, makes sense) and aerobic capacity. ??You’re actually getting two for the price of one. Interval training has likewise proven very sound at getting rid of fat, since at the end of a workout session, your metabolism remains “cranked up” for quite a number of hours afterwards. However there is a key difficulty with interval training though – it has to be extremely, super demanding. ??If you’re not putting in the appropriate intensity (which is 100%, balls-to-the-wall, you’re gonna have an arm chopped off if you don’t work hard enough kinda intense) into this cardio training program, then you’re going to have less than fair results. This is due to volume and intensity are inversely relative in cardio training plans. ??You may go long and slow, or quick and hard. ??However you can’t go long and hard. ??No one has ever sprinted in a marathon… However say you perform your interval training at a low intensity. ??Now you’re slow and short which is the worst of both worlds. So, how can you make sure that you’re not wasting your time, and still take advantage of the benefits of interval training? Simple – just select some intense activities, and do them at a medium volume. ??This might include playing various sports, or better yet, heavy circuit-style weight training. It will be a variation of interval training, which will be shorter bursts of highly intense activity. ??However, for the cardio won’t be at 100% intensity, you simply perform with a little more volume to compensate for it.
