At this point in time the meat is on the barbecue and crisping up nicely, the chicken is no longer pink in the middle but it is nice and black on the outside, the chops are now a little overdone and the pork belly slices are little more than strips of charcoal which any artist could put to good use on their next work of art.
And the centerpiece of all this action, this ritual which is at times comical, at times fraught and tense but at all times a ritual which takes place in many back gardens during the course of the summer is a beautiful set of Teak garden furniture.
