If you are preparing to hire professional Long Island carpet cleaners in your home there are several things you want to have in place before you sign a contract and do to ensure your Long Island carpet cleaning professionals are reputable and reliable.
Here are a few things you can do to better your chances of hiring a solid carpet cleaning service, even if you’ve never hired one before. Remember: honesty is one thing; being reliable, on time and experienced are completely different matters.
Here are some key questions you can ask to better the odds of having a pleasant experience:
1. Ask how long the company has been in business and if they’ve been under the same management for that period of time. New companies are not necessarily better than companies that have been around for decades, however, you don’t want inexperienced workers practicing on your carpets, right?
2. Ask if the individual who is going to be cleaning your carpets has been certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification or other similar training organization. · Final walk through with the customer to ensure satisfaction with job
In general, pricing for carpet cleaning usually does not include deodorizing carpet or application of carpet protectors such as Scotchgard®.
