Little does better to your looks than getting enough sleep. When I was young, my mom always said beauty rest is very important, but exactly what does sleep had to do with looking good? After I am older, I know the reason. Lack of sleep really make you looks bad.. Proper sleep is important to peace of mind as well as a healthy body. You can only look your best when you are healthy right? It is as simple as that!

You can easily see it on their face when a person is having problems sleeping. Always make sure to sleep properly no less than 7-8 hours a day.

Another aspect in beauty sleep is using a good mattress. It’s best to rest using a bed mattress that isn’t too firm or too soft. I am starting to believe this is my problem, and I’m going to have to spring for a brand new mattress before too much more time passes. You are going to have a more difficult time to have a good nights rest when you’re using a mattress which is too soft or too firm. You may also have a problem if your mattress is too small. If you are sleeping in a full size mattress with your wife/husband, both of you might be having difficulty getting enough beauty rest. Use the right bed size which have sufficient space for you to sleep well.

If you’re already using a good bed, but you still find it difficult to sleep well, the next thing you might want to take a look at is your atmosphere. If you are looking at chaos, or heaps of job you have to do the next day, you aren’t going to sleep well. Keep work out of the bedroom, and keep the mess picked up. Furthermore, check if the light inside your bedroom is too bright or there’s a sound that is bothering you. Wear a sleeping mask and get a cooling fan or other white sound appliance to reduce sounds that could be holding you awake at night.

There is many research that shows getting a regular eight hours sleep a day does indeed make you appear much healthier and more attractive. If you want to appear healthy and attractive, it’s far better to get a good night’s sleep and it’s also a lot cheaper compared to other beauty treatments.

Here are several tips to help you get the rest you need:
– Exercise every day. Even 20 minutes of taking walks will help keep stress hormones from interfering with your relaxation.
– Avoid large meals right before bedtime. An active digestive system might disturb sleep.
– You shouldn’t read, watch television or work in bed. Use the bed only to sleep. This will help to prevent you from developing sleep disorders.
– Avoid caffeine, nicotine or other stimulants within three hrs of bed time.
– Minimise light, noise and also temperature extremes; your bed room must be comfortably cool, around 68 degrees.
