Recently, eight students pursuing degree in mass communication and diploma programmes in the specializations of sound engineering, digital filmmaking, animation and game development at Seamedu have been awarded the “Dajikaka Gadgil Scholarship” by Dajikaka himself. The objective of this scholarship is to encourage the somewhat underprivileged students to pursue education and career in the exciting field of media. The scholarship has been initiated by the SVG Social Foundation & Seamless Education Academy to provide equal opportunities to the really deserving students for higher education. This opportunity is given in the form of scholarships that offer financial assistance to the deserving students from India. Dajikaka Gadgil Scholarship would be awarded to students based on a continuous assessment of their performance and commitment during the first six months of the program. Students who qualify, would then be interviewed by the scholarship panel and based on the interview the final scholarships would be awarded. The scholarship value differs in every faculty.
