What is Female Sexual Arousal Disorder?

Female sexual arousal disorder, or Female libido disorder, is commonly referred to as frigidity, which is characterized by a persistent or recurrent inability to attain sexual arousal or to maintain arousal until the completion of a sexual activity. The diagnosis can also refer to an inadequate lubrication-swelling response normally present during arousal and sexual activity. The condition should be distinguished from a general loss of interest in sexual activity and from other sexual dysfunctions, such as the orgasmic disorder (anorgasmia) and hypoactive sexual desire disorder, which is characterized as a lack or absence of sexual fantasies and desire for sexual activity for some period of time. Female Libido Enhancer

Although female sexual dysfunction is currently a contested diagnostic, pharmaceutical companies have begun to promote products to treat this defect, often involving low doses of testosterone.

There are several subtypes of female sexual arousal disorders also. They may indicate onset: since birth or acquired. They also may be based on context: occurring in all situations (generalized) or be situation-specific (situational). For example, the disorder may occur with a spouse but not with a different partner.

The length of time the disorder has existed and the extent to which it is situation-specific, as opposed to occurring in all situations, may be the result of different causative factors and may influence the treatment for the disorder. It may be due to psychological factors or due to a combination of factors.
There are has been many studies that took place in the past to find out various concreted reasons for this kind of disorder in women.
However, the DSM-IV (American Psychiatric Association 1994) diagnostic criteria for female sexual arousal disorders are:
• Persistent or repeated inability to attain, or to maintain the aroused state until the completion of the sexual activity, an adequate lubrication-swelling response of sexual excitement.
• The disturbance causes marked distress or interpersonal difficulty,
• The sexual dysfunction is not better accounted for by another Axis I disorder (except another sexual dysfunction) and is not due exclusively to the direct physiological effects of a substance (e.g., a drug of abuse, a medication) or a general medical condition.

A number of studies have explored the factors that contribute to female sexual arousal disorder and female orgasmic disorder. These factors include both psychological and physical factors. Psychologically, possible causes of the disorder include the impact of childhood and puberty experiences and current events – both within the individual and within the current relationship. Female Libido Enhancer

Most studies that have assessed the impact of childhood experiences on female sexual dysfunction are considered methodologically flawed. The studies rely on retrospective recall, which is particularly problematic when emotional responses to the event as well as the actual occurrence of the event are being reported. However, there have been some probative links between childhood sexual abuse and having a later sexual dysfunction.

Further, there has been little investigation of the impact of individual factors on female sexual dysfunction. Such factors include stress, levels of fatigue, gender identity, health, and other individual attributes and experiences that may affect sexual desire or response. Over exposure to prnography-style media is also thought to lead to poor body image, self-consciousness and lowered self-esteem. An individual’s sexual activity is disrupted by overwhelming emotional distress resulting in inability to attain sexual pleasure.

However, curing of this serious dysfunction is an important factor failing of which leads to a complete relationship breakdown. Science has proved certain effective measures to overcome this dilemma. It is told that nature has the cure for each problems stimulated within human. This gave rise to natural female libido enhancers that proved to be completely safe from side-effects, over time. Certain natural elements such as Piper Nigrum, Horny Goat Weed, Arginine, Kacip Fatimah, and Panax Ginseng are the ingredients used in a natural libido enhancer.

Hence, it is better to be knowledgeable upon selecting the treatment for sexual arousal disorder which is not anymore an incurable defect
