Hugh Ross: Discovering Scientific Evidence that God do Exist

Hugh Ross might be a highly successful astrophysicist but he is one who supports the omniscience of God. At the very young age of eight, Ross wanted to become an astrophysicist. He was raised in Vancouver, and later graduated from the University of British Columbia, Canada with a Doctorate Degree in Astronomy. His career as a scientist has brought him to some parts of the US like California where he had conducted a series of lectures on quasars and other celestial phenomena. In addition to this, Ross was also known for his best selling books, one of which is “The Fingerprint of God”. He laboriously spent two years of research fort his book, testing the Bible’s statements in accordance with known scientific methods. In this research, Ross was also trying to answer the philosophical question that some prominent scientists might not ever think of: Can a Scientist Believe in God?

Scientists are well known for their empirical approach in justifying the existence of beings in the world. On the contrary, Ross has been a scientist whose perspective is truly dedicated to providing rational and empirical proof that God really exists, a Being who was conceived way beyond Man’s limited mind. Basically, Hugh Ross’ comparative literature of the Bible guided with a handful of scientific principles has led to a network of some new scientific evidence which would positively affirm the existence of God in this universe. Hugh Ross thoroughly developed the Creation Approach Model as a way to build the bridge between Science and Christian Faith, and further rectifies it with continuous discoveries. With this, Ross was able to present a deeper side of truth about God’s relationship with His creations. Unmasking the other face of God to humanity would be apparently ambitious, but Ross does not aim for an absolute truth, he rather believes that conducting this research is his ultimate purpose in life as a way to glorify God.

On 1992, British Physicist Stephen Hawking had declared that on the said year was the “discovery of the century” because scientists have found evidence with regards to how the universe was created. The standard truth about the universe is that it was composed of molecular properties like electron, proton and neuron. In this state, ordinary matter attracts and provokes radiation leading to the formation of celestial objects. Radiation activity on the space has been hypothesized as smoothly distributed, and other celestial matters that come along with it are smoothly distributed as well.

The hypothesis of Hugh Ross, however, has proven that the universe was indeed created by a Higher Being. The discovery of the exotic matter would explain why some galaxy formations were clumpy. The inactivity from radiation on this exotic matter had yielded to these galaxies to form in a cluster. As a result of these radiation activities and non-radiation activities, massive objects have been formed. Both ordinary matter and exotic matter do attract likewise to magnet poles and thus, this created the present-day universe.
