Noted Issues in Demolition Process of Jaw Crusher
Jaw crusher is mainly used for the coarse crushing and intermediate crushing of a variety of materials, whose compressive strength is less than 320 MPa. It has advantages of big crushing ratio, high yield, even granularity, simple structure, reliable operation, easy maintenance and low operation costs. Jaw crusher is one of the most critical, the most important and also the most expensive main equipment in the coarse crushing stage. So all aspects of the stone jaw crusher should be attached great importance. Naturally, the demolition process of equipment deserves our attention. The daily working environment of jaw crusher is quite poor, so it needs regular warranty and maintenance. In the maintenance process, the maintenance man should take apart the jaw crusher and repair every parts of the machine. There are several issues to be noticed in the demolition and maintenance process.
To replace the thrust plate is the most frequent repair project in jaw crusher. As for the jaw crusher whose connecting rod is a whole part, if the workers want to remove the thrust plate, they must at first screw out of the baffle bolts, cut off the stem oil lube tube and hang the thrust plate on the crane lifting hook or other lifting equipment, and then they can loosen the spring at the end of horizontal rod, pull the movable jaw in the direction of fixed jaw and remove the thrust plate.
After unloading the thrust plate of the jaw crusher, the workers should cut thin lubricating oil pipes and cooling pipes, support the connecting rod with stent strut and remove the rod cap. The main axis of the jaw crusher should be removed together with the pulley and flywheel. Move the motor (with belt) closer to the jaw crusher along the rails as far as possible, and then remove the V-belt. Then use the crane to mention the axis. In order to demolish the movable jaw, they must at first cut off the dry oil lube tube, remove the lever, remove the bearing cap, and then pull out the movable jaw with a crane or other lifting equipment. Fixed liner (tooth plate), the moving jaw liner (tooth plate) and both sides of the liner (shield) of jaw crusher are the parts the easiest to wear. When these liners are severely worn, the particle size of the product will become larger. In the initial worn stage, the workers can turn around the tooth plate, or up and down.
Only when jaw crushers are with regular protection and maintenance, can they work better. So the workers should timely repair them, so as to achieve higher efficiency.
