Straightforward Ways To Make Friends Hard To Deal With People

Everyone knows someone that they’ve had trouble getting along with. There are kids or even teachers that just don’t mesh well with our personalities somehow. Some people have figured out how to work with it – others remain struggling with their relationships.

Getting along with them is definitely a challenge, but there are other options available beyond “deal with it.”

Some people have been taught to just brace themselves. Some have even been told to smile at them. The latter is preferred simply because there’s a more positive angle when you’re beaming at them.

It may feel counterintuitive, but there’s an easy way to get the ball rolling – just smile. Don’t bare your teeth like a predator, give that person an honest to goodness smile while thinking about whatever part of them you like. You might end up receiving a smile from them too.

Difficult people aren’t necessarily antagonists. You might be coming into this entire thing with some sort of pre-disposition. If you give them another shot, you might find yourself surprised at how much you could like them.

Let’s say there was this guy named Mark. He’s way too bossy and tends to interrupt conversations. People end up disliking him intensely but you don’t – or at least you resist your initial reaction.

Mark’s just bossy because he wants to get the job done and he’s extremely hands on. He’s kind of in your face because he wants it to be perfect.

You understand him because you get that too. You understand how someone can become bitter because it could have just as easily been you – suddenly, Martin is sympathetic rather than irritating. Fighting with people solves nothing – understanding them changes everything. Just calm yourself down and remember that they’re people too.
