To put in simple words if 100 people were sent an E-mailer promotion, 10 responded for more information. However, this might not be enough to support the business continuity. For businesses they would be more interested in the next step, which is how many of these leads were converted into opportunities or actual customers. Definitions and scales might differ from company to company or even industry wise. However, more or less a business’s ultimate goal remains the same viz. to gain more customers through Internet marketing campaign.

Another important aspect about launching the campaign is its timing. Adhere from weekends and holiday seasons – Christmas and New Year especially. Wait a minute! Do I mean you should neglect customers on the peak of festive season? No! Chances are that potential audience would either delete your mailers without reading or not read at all once they are back from vacation or they return when the vacation has already ended.

The point Is to market services or products not on the moment but well before that. Give them a chance to make an informed purchase. After all everybody likes to be with their friends or family in a festive or weekend break. Therefore maximize your chances of hitting the target by initiating campaigns on weekdays.
