Re-branding the work of several Chinese forges (including, especially, the forge of acclaimed Chinese sword smith Chris Zhou, pictured right) – Musashi swords have been a regular at numerous trade shows, but just have recently established an internet presence, care of their official US distributor – Roger Caneda (who is furthermore the owner of the Mythical beasts Cavern – a very popular and reliable online seller of high quality illusion display swords).
Despite the fact that they are made at several different forges, Musashi swords are generally quite regularly good quality – especially considering the extremely good deal tags. As such they produce a range of extremely affordable light duty cutters/display swords all the way up to some real no extras workhorses – all brand name with a distinctive twice ‘C’ Ring Tsuba image possibly on the blade or perhaps on the habaki (blade dog collar).
The price range about Musashi swords ranges for US$59.99 to $379.99 – though few previously mentioned the $200 mark.
It will also be noted in which as the manufacturer/re-brander only uses SKUs — the names of each individual sword may well differ from retailer to merchant – despite the fact that the merchandise is the same.
