Ignou Term End exams to commence from 1st December

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Term End Examination is going to begin from 1st December 2011 and will finish on 29th December 2011.

The University has recognized 802 examination centers including 40 abroad centers, 36 centres in jail for jail prisoners and 85 centres at Partner Institutions (PIs) for convergence students. Hall tickets have been issued to 3,94,672 eligible students who had applied for emerging in the Term End Examination. The detailed hall ticket status is also available on IGNOU website. Students may also download the hall tickets from the university website and appear in the examination.

The examination centers have been trained to allow students to show in examination, even if they don’t possess the hall ticket but their names exist in the list of examinees for that centre.

Students are advised to carry their identity card issued by the university during the examination. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the examination hall.

Separate hall tickets shall be issued to the students of Ignou BCA and Ignou MCA for term end practical. Students are advised to contact the respective regional centers in the last week of December for their practical examinations. For Bachelors in Library Science, all the theory examination centers are not activated for conduct of practical examination. Students are advised to contact the centre superintendent and see the notice board for practical examination centre.
