How do dictators come to power? They rule the most necessary supplies and ascend to power. You could almost say the same for office politics. He (or she) who rules the writing supplies, the power of the eraser, ruler and the pencil sharpener may just control the entire office.

Think about it for a minute. Much of the 21st century business climate occurs on the computer. Could you get through your whole day without using any writing supplies? Maybe some days.
