When you decide to take a trip across the country with your family member or with a group of friends, there are typically two options available: staying at motels (or hotels) or hiring an RV. So can either of these alternatives be considered clearly more advantageous than the other? To put it simply, you will need to choose a route that has an available hotel or motel at each of the stops. And to make matters worse, there is always the chance that the hotel is fully booked or that your reservations have not been processed correctly. The RV however, eliminates these unpleasant risks because it will always provide a roof over your head no matter where you choose to go.
A noteworthy aspect is that in most cases you will have to take the RV to the designated parking area and account for the parking fee, but it is still significantly lower than the hotel costs. Travelers are also provided electrical outlets, access to fresh water supplies and other commodities. The only limitation of the RV compared to hotels is that there is no cleaning service and you will need to tidy up the interior on your own. However, accounting for all the benefits characteristic to the RV, this is essentially a negligible drawback. Overall, it is part of the trip’s charm, if you look at it from the freedom and independence point of view.
