In terms of getting back in great shape, people get very creative when they try to come up with justifications to avoid it. The real truth is that, while we are trying to get in shape, the physical activity really isn’t pleasurable; it is exactly challenging work. Getting in shape doesn’t feel enjoyable, even with the endorphin rush many of us experience afterwards. Even with those endorphins working out causes our muscles and joints to feel pain, tires us out and can make us almost hate our bodies for a little bit. Realizing that, of course, we’re going to get fabulous at figuring out other things to do. Here are a few of the dumbest excuses people use for not working out regularly.

Just how often have you said I want to exercise but I just really don’t have the time? This is possibly the overall worst excuse to make whenever you do not want to do physical exercise. The truth is there’s always time to work out because you can easily exercise even though you are doing other things. One example, in lieu of jumping into the elevator, climb up the stairway at work. You may pack a nutritious healthy lunch and talk a walk during your lunch time break instead of just hitting a fast food drive thru. Pace your office or carry out some reduced impact workout sessions while you are on a conference call. At night it’s easy to do some workout routines while you watch your television. There is always time to workout; you only have to prepare yourself to search for it.

How many times do you tell yourself that you’re going to workout later, when you’re able to afford good quality gym equipment or maybe a health club membership. That’s simply dumb and self sabataging form of behavior. You really don’t require any pricey fitness equipment or a fitness center account to get in top condition. You can follow workout videos on the internet or DVDs that you can check out from a library. You are capable of doing exercises you find out about in magazines. All you need in order to get in shape is your own body as well as some room to maneuver within.

Maybe you have said “I need to workout however it hurts and I get exhausted when I workout”? Do not do that anymore. The real truth is that exercises do truly hurt and make you tired anytime you first begin doing them. But as you grow healthier you’ll have an easier time of things. Start gradually so you won’t feel like you could be killing yourself every time you work out and increase energy and strength. There are lots of different explanations not to improve your fitness right now from not having the right stuff to feeling like you just don’t have time.
